As a link between the company and the individual brand clubs around the world, the Mercedes-Benz Classic Club Management acts. Silver Star Award
90,000 club members are organized in over 80 clubs to share their passion for the vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz with like-minded people. The clubs keep the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand alive and are supported in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Club in their efforts.
Characteristic of the brand clubs of Mercedes-Benz is a strong sense of community. Its members, the maintenance of a harmonious world presence and sense of tradition and loyalty have written to the brand on the flags.
Of course, all members strive in an exemplary way to their club and the Mercedes-Benz brand. Nevertheless, there are always people that stand by their commitment special. Such members may be nominated by another club member for the coveted Silver Star Award.
Criteria for nomination may be strategic or operational, but also emotional Type: For example, to overcome exceptional difficulties in establishing a club weigh as much as special fairness in our dealings. The award is a sign of support, appreciation and reward of the Group to the clubs and their members and to further motivate, reward loyalty and deepen bonds.
Each member of an authorized Mercedes-Benz Club has the right to propose another club member for this award once a year. Then selected by a panel of the Mercedes-Benz Museum on the final approval of the proposals. The decision is made on the occasion of the President’s meeting of the International Mercedes-Benz Club. The Excellent or receive a certificate, a sculpture, as well as the coveted, the suit or costume, carrying Silver Star.
