Membership
Interested in joining the Mercedes-Benz Car Club of WA? we’d love to see you become part of the Club and you don’t even need to own a Mercedes-Benz to be a member. All we need is your enthusiasm for the Three-Pointed Star and a willingness to make new friends and have some fun.
Our Club, the MBCCWA is experiencing good levels of membership growth, we have experienced greater participation due in large to well-designed driving events and various non-driving events such as dinners and lunches and the level of classic and modern cars driven by members. The details on this page aim to highlight what this club can offer.
Join the Mercedes-Benz Car Club of WA
Join the Club via our online application process. Once your payment has been processed you will get access to your own MBCCWA Member Portal (coming soon!), where you’ll add and maintain your information, including vehicle details and concessional logbooks, and where you’ll have access to digital copies of the club’s “Megastar” magazines and other club publications.
Benefits of Membership
Megastar Magazine
Our club magazine is called Megastar. This publication has been produced within the Club for many years, and our magazine is now digital online, so members can search for past and present editions through their Member Portal. Megastar reports on events, Mercedes-Benz international media, and all things to do with the ‘Three-Pointed Star’.
Technical Assistance
One of the main reasons people become members of our club is to access the wealth of knowledge available from the membership group. By attending our events and meetings, you will no doubt find someone who can help with your issue, or at least some information on who to contact.
Visit the Mercedes-Benz Public M@RS site – For a comprehensive collection of technical data, specifications, and a chronicle of all models up to the 1990s.
Concessional Vehicle Registrations
Registered vehicle owners who are current financial members of an approved motoring car club or association, such as ours, may be eligible for a vehicle licence fee concession from the WA Department of Transport (DoT). This can provide a massive reduction in yearly licencing fees at the expense of limiting use of the vehicle. See our Concessional Licencing pages for further details.
Club Meetings
Generally held on the first Monday evening of each month. The meetings are held mostly at a business that would be of an interest to Club members. Meetings with relevant businesses possibly involving mechanical, spray painting, upholstery, and so on.
These meetings are a great way to network with other members and are publicised via our regular email communications.
Events
All club events are displayed digitally on the Club’s Facebook page and regularly communicated via email. See our Events page for further details.
Club Card
Our Club Cards are supplied to Members via membership application, these are sent out once per year and assist in gaining discounts from various suppliers and repairers in WA, and access to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Also see Mercedes-Benz Classic website.
Or club offers a member-only social media page on Facebook, where members who have a Facebook account can liaise with other members. This is in addition to our public Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/mbccwa/
Club Lounge
All Club Card holders are given access to the Mercedes-Benz Club Lounge website, which offers a range of interesting and useful content. The Club Lounge provides a gateway to the Classic Parts Centre, the Inspire Me forum, and the ability to subscribe to Mercedes-Benz’s Classic magazine.
